Welcome Lebo Tlali
Originally from the Free State, Lebo Tlali has been living in Cape
Town for over 10 years. He studied for a BA (FA) at Michaelis School of
Art and has worked on various art projects with local artists and
exhibited as a phoOriginally from the Free State and has been living in

and exhibited as a photographer.
He brings with him a lot of arts administration experience and a broad
network with strong relationships with artists, curators, and art
institutions in SA and abroad.
Lebo has been involved in the production of projects including Cape
07, Cape09, and Sessions Maputo in Mozambique. More recently he
attended a residency in NYC where he worked as a curatorial assistant
for Axis Gallery and Newark Museum.
His experience has given him great understanding of the changing
demands and needs of artists as well as the challenges of managing
projects under different circumstances and perspectives. Lebo is
assisting VANSA in ensuring that artists' ideas and needs are given
platforms in many different forms that are available and possible for
them.
