Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme Scholarship Description

The Research Grants Council of Hong Kong University Grants Committee are committed to promoting world class research in Hong Kong. Through their PhD Fellowships, Hong Kong's outstanding universities offer research opportunities in a broad range of PhD programmes, with generous stipends and excellent support for the best and brightest students in the world. The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend of US$2,600 & a conference & research related travel allowance of $US1,300 per year.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is USD2600 (maximum per month). This award is to be
used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid monthly for the period of 3 years.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: ARCHITECTURE, URBAN ENVIRONMENT AND BUILDING, BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, COMMERCE, MANAGEMENT, TOURISM AND SERVICES, MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES, SCIENCE - GENERAL or SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL.

Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Hong Kong. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
